On October 31, 2009, Raíces Cultural Center partnered up with Albus Cavus, Family Arts Movement, Verbal Mayhem and the Community Arts Mural Project to celebrate Halloween and El Día de los Muertos at the Raritan River Art Walk in New Brunswick, NJ. With the help of all the monster artists, musicians, poets, families and friends who came outside despite the dreary day, at Monster Jam 2k9, Raíces spent the day celebrating the ancestors, community, culture and art.
